Once Lara is well embedded in the corner block (as shown above), jump in place several times. When you're in the correct position, you'll see Lara get hung up inside the corner and sort of "hover" for a moment each time you jump. At this point, you'll hear the telltale "ching", indicating that one set of spikes has been triggered. (Apologies to the hearing impaired. I'm not sure how you'd do this except with assistance from a hearing person or by trial and error.)

The reason why this glitch is extremely valuable is because everywhere from @44-50 in the above video there are no invisible walls keeping you from going out of bounds. Nope nada...not a one. It appears the game developers didn't place IWs here since once Jonah catches you from the Ice wall (allowing you go through this section normally) you are inhibited from jumping, rolling, or practically doing anything besides walking forwards but this glitch avoids the trigger for this to happen. You can literally jump out of bounds anywhere! Even in the cave! From here you can climb the mountain or other things. There is no doubt that this could skip most of Mountain Peak provided the OOB trick linked up with the Skywalking route taken on PC that jumps back in at a later cutscene. From my time messing around out of bounds using this trick I didn't hit one death plane either it doesn't seem like there are many.
When Lara is ready for extraction, she must locate and use resources to light a bonfire. When lit, a helicopter will arrive to pick Lara up. There is a chance that NPCs will see the smoke as well and attack Lara. If this happens, the helicopter will delay its arrival or wait for the NPCs to be defeated. It is possible to be extracted from the area while NPCs are still alive. When the helicopter arrives, Lara must reach the rope and interact with it to trigger the extraction.
In this example the trigger bug is unusual, in that Lara is sucked into the wall, and sometimes she must turn in place before the bugs work (she can jump out again). Also, two events are sometimes triggered: the opening of the exit door from the climb out of the flooded room, and the materialization of a skeleton, who is normally triggered in the passage to the the exit door.
Sometimes nearby trigger bugs occur as you embed, or turn to the angle you want. xRikux89 has found that quickly pressing a key may forestall unwanted actions. It's useful in a few places to enter Inventory just before Lara stands fully. Or drop a burning flare, which prevents trigger bugs. Embed with a second flare and do all to perform the ALT; it occurs when the first flare dies.
This works in TR4 and custom levels. The "freezing" portion of this bug was reported by MrJavi94. chreden, xRikux89 and rr_carroll developed the details of the remote-control motion. Uzi master of tombraiderforums.com pointed out the bug was described 3 years ago here.
Once the area is clear, scramble to the top of the structure and swing across the pole to backtrack toward the entrance. Watch out for numerous Serpent Guards that attack along the path back to Upper Paititi, following A'aron though a hidden passage, and then exit the barracks and return to Hakan to trigger a scene.
Note that while the game wants you to avoid the flames by shooting the orbs, you can easily avoid them by dropping off the back of the raft and then climbing back up before the piranhas kill you. Additionally, using herbs to slow time when aiming or defensive herbs to reduce damage can be used to help you complete this portion of the tomb.

One of the most exciting features of the Dualsense controller on the PlayStation 5 is the addition of adaptive triggers. This piece of tech will apply a level of resistance to the L2 and R2 button so that when you press them, you feel as though the controller is pushing the trigger back against you.
This feature has been receiving strong support from Sony who have been making great use of the functionality for games released under PlayStation Studios. Many games that are being ported from the PS4 to the PS5 are getting haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support.

Adaptive triggers and haptic feedback are two separate features that come as part of the new Dualsense controller for the PS5. Haptic feedback is a new and improved version of the classic rumble feature that we have seen in controllers for the past 20 years. Haptic feedback is far more precise as it allows for vibration to more realistically mimic real vibrations. It also allows vibration to be focussed more specifically on a certain part of the controller rather than just having the entire thing shake.
Over the years, few series have proven their ability to change and evolve better than Tomb Raider. From its humble beginnings on the original PlayStation to its almost overnight success, the series has time and again been rebooted and reimagined in a variety of ways. However, none was more striking than the 2013 reboot that saw the classic version of Lara Croft retooled into a new younger version dubbed Survivor Lara by developers and fans alike. Although gamers embraced the new gameplay and tone of the series, one glaring aspect never sat well over the three games in this new iteration. Lara never became the familiar tomb raider that fans loved and that the developers insisted she eventually would.
Another design choice that could help usher in a more evolved take on the classic character would be to once again allow her to wield her weapons of choice, the dual pistols. Although the reboot trilogy turned Lara from a purely firearm-focused fighter into a world-class archer with her bow and arrows, it took away her iconic sidearms. The trilogy hinted time and again that Lara might return to these weapons, but ultimately never pulled the trigger on actually putting them back in her hands. Along with the aforementioned classic outfit, the return of the dual pistols is one of the fan community's most requested features.
The only one that was any problem was the highest one from the waterfall. That one is definitely bugged. Not sure if it's something to do with all the jutting out rocks, or if the triggers were just set up in a weirdly specific position. I just kept reloading and trying again repeatedly for a while from different positions until she eventually did the dive animation.
Rise Of The Tomb Raider is the most content-packed game out of the survivor trilogy, boasting all sorts of optional aspects to explore. With combat that feels great to control and the tomb puzzles being better than ever, it can be tough to stay on the main story path without getting distracted.
Greek Fire makes both fire arrows and Molotov cocktails deal more damage, even against those pesky enemies in armor. All of the challenge tombs are a joy to beat, and finally figuring out the steps you need to take to complete one is a gleeful feeling that's hard to beat.
It's nice that Lara Croft has been a hero for girls in gaming since the 1990s, and the new Tomb Raider from a few years ago tried to reboot her as a more realistic character, giving her an origin story as a normal posh English girl who goes through her crucible to become the tomb raider we all know. The writing suggests she gets a boatload of PTSD for her ordeal as she ends up killing hundreds of crazed cult members on the island. But she comes out stronger and more determined.
By Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the third game in the trilogy, Lara Croft has become all-out dislikable. She's so obsessed with thwarting Trinity that even her friend Jonah thinks she's become dangerous to herself and people around her. Within the first half-hour of the game, she triggers a flood the destroys a town and kills hundreds of people. and unleashes an apocalypse where hundreds of innocent people die. She just moves on and spends the rest of the game chasing after Trinity and the artifact they're after to prevent the apocalypse.
Despite its age, the first entry in the trilogy holds up remarkably well and serves as a wonderful introduction to the franchise for newcomers and a grand return for series veterans.
