When you open an online-only file, it downloads to your device and becomes a locally available file. You can open a locally available file anytime, even without internet access. If you need more space, you can change the file back to online only. Just right-click the file and select Free up space.

New files or folders created online or on another device appear as online-only to save maximum space. However, if you mark a folder as "Always keep on this device," new files in that folder download to your device as always available files.
Yes, you can move online-only files within your OneDrive folder for that OneDrive account. When you move files outside that OneDrive folder, the files download to the new folder and are removed from your OneDrive. If you accidentally delete something, you can restore files or folders by going to your OneDrive recycle bin.
Files On-Demand is enabled by default on macOS 12.1 Monterey. The latest updates will allow you to see all your files in Finder under the Location section on the Sidebar and get new information about each file. Your files will have these statuses in Finder:
For new OneDrive accounts on macOS 10.14 Mojave and above, Files On-Demand is turned on by default when you set up OneDrive. Existing users will have Files On-Demand turned on when updating to macOS 12.1 Monterey.
To avoid this delay, you can force the system to pre-create all these files and folders for you without downloading your content. To do this, open a Terminal window and type "ls -alR /OneDrive" (or the path to your OneDrive). This will ensure your files and folders are created, but not downloaded, before you browse.

GCC 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 (auto-vectorizing gcc with OpenMP):Compiled using source code from the GNU servers. This contains current versions (8.3 is the stable release) of gfortran (free, open source, GNU Fortran 95 compiler), gcc (GNU C) and g++ (GNU C++) compilers that can perform auto-vectorization (i.e. modify code to take advantage of AltiVec/SSE, automatically) and other sophisticated optimizations like OpenMP. For more information, see this webpage. Download my binaries, and cd to the download folder. Then gunzip gcc-12.1-m1-bin.tar.gz (if your browser didn't do so already) and then sudo tar -xvf gcc-12.1-m1-bin.tar -C /. It installs everything in /usr/local. You can invoke the Fortran 95 compiler by simply typing gfortran. You will also need to have Apple's XCode Tools installed from the Mac App Store. With XCode 4 or better you will need to download the command-line tools as an additional step. You will find the option to download the command-line tools in XCode's Preferences. On 10.9 Mavericks or higher, you can get the command-line tools by simply typing xcode-select --install. And on Catalina, you may have to specify an additional include and library path -I/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/include -L/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/lib for the compiler to find the system headers and libraries. Students and exam-takers downloading the test-taking software, Examplify, should review these Minimum System Requirements (MSRs) to ensure their devices are supported. Examplify works with most modern computers, both Mac and Windows operating systems. To keep Examplify current in the rapidly evolving market, when new technology is introduced, Examplify works hard to timely implement updates that accommodate changes in technologies. It is not always possible, however, to support all hardware or software, unless and until we test and certify updated technologies, including chipsets and operating systems. 2ff7e9595c
